The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it's worried about the possibility of Brexit hampering the Island's fish-processing businesses.
DEFA Minister Geoffrey Boot appeared before the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee yesterday.
He revealed the department's priorities - and said at the top of the list is Brexit, which could have major implications for the farming and fishing industries.
Mr Boot says in particular Manx fish-processing firms may struggle to find staff, as most of their workers are from abroad:
Laxey Promenade shut as waves wash onto road
Ramsey roads shut because of coastal overtopping
MHK writes to Post Office about bill-paying restrictions
£7.7m cost by Manx Care staff sickness
30.5% hike to rates in Andreas
Only some war pensions discounted from care charges
