St John Ambulance is warning people to take care as Bonfire Night approaches.
The organisation says it's easy to hurt yourself or others through carelessness if you're hosting a fireworks party, and has issued some advice to help.
Superintendant Phil Bennett from the Island's St John Ambulance says having some knowledge of first aid will help if anything should go wrong.
But he says more important is preparation and prevention:
