St John Ambulance is warning people to take care as Bonfire Night approaches.
The organisation says it's easy to hurt yourself or others through carelessness if you're hosting a fireworks party, and has issued some advice to help.
Superintendant Phil Bennett from the Island's St John Ambulance says having some knowledge of first aid will help if anything should go wrong.
But he says more important is preparation and prevention:
Ramsey Remembrance service to be marked by maroon rockets
MEDS phone line to be down temporarily
Committee to examine link between poverty and poor academic performance
Police advice for trick-or-treaters to stay safe
