A motorcyclist was left with serious leg injuries after losing control of his bike and crashing head-on into a car.
Maxwell Dawson, of Ballabrooie Drive in Douglas, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 33-year-old admitted driving over the cannabis limit and having no licence or tax after the crash on the Mountain Road on October 25 last year.
Dawson was riding through Keppel Gate when he smashed head-on into an Audi, leaving its driver with minor injuries.
Tests showed Dawson was just over the legal limit for cannabis.
He was fined a total of £1,260, banned from driving for two years and ordered to pay £50 costs.
