A biker has died following a road traffic collision near to the Ginger Hall Pub.
At around 6:15PM yesterday a Norton cycle/sidecar combination collided with a parked and unattended car on Claddaghs Road in Sulby.
The rider received fatal injuries.
The road was closed for 4 hours while police carried out their enquiries.
The passenger was detained at Nobles hospital with head injuries.
At the time of the collision there was a large number of people in the area who had gathered for the evening TT Race practice session. Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision to make contact to assist with the investigation.
