Police have confirmed a biker who crashed on the Mountain Road on Wednesday night has died.
The 44-year-old was involved in a crash between the Joeys and Guthries memorials at 7.20pm.
He was riding a blue Triumph motorbike – he was flown to a UK hospital for treatment but died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
The man has not yet been named.
