Bid to bin quangos finds favour in Tynwald

Quangos in Tynwald are to be scrutinised by its resident "Guy Faulkes":

That's Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas - he was supported by the house following a move for a review of committees and quasi-autonomous entities.

It was suggested that the Council of Ministers look into the necessity of these groups in departments, boards and offices throughout government.
