The Office of Fair Trading is warning people not to trust Kylie Jenner's makeup or Kanye West's trainers.
The organisation says the two are most-targeted by fraudsters who are scamming people doing their Christmas shopping online.
OFT chairman Martyn Perkins says people should try to make sure they're not doing business with fraudsters selling counterfeits, taking money without delivering, or stealing identities.
He says one local buyer who bought an item through social media later found out it was unsafe - and they remain out of pocket.
