Beth comes to the Island fresh from picking up yet another Gold medal on the uneven bars at last week’s European Gymnastics Championships in Berlin.
European and Commonwealth champion gymnast Beth Tweddle is on the Island today as the special guest at tonight’s Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards.
Beth comes to the Island fresh from picking up yet another Gold medal on the uneven bars at last week’s European Gymnastics Championships in Berlin.
She’s able to come to the Island as she always allows herself a week off after a major event to recover.
Aswell as the awards Beth will also be using her time on the Island to drum up volunteer support for the Commonwealth Youth Games in September.
She herself took part in the Youth Games in 2000 and told 3FM that it’s a privilege that she can help raise awareness to such a great event.
