The Steam Packet company says the rest of the Ben my Chree's sailings today will be delayed because of tidal conditions earlier.
The vessel was late arriving from Belfast this morning because of the tides - it meant the 8.45am sailing to Heysham this morning set off shortly after 11am.
As a result, both the return sailing from Lancashire this afternoon and her evening trip to Heysham will both be delayed by around 45 minutes.
Passengers are being asked to check in as usual to make sure she can depart as soon as possible.
