Ben-my-Chree back to full power following repairs

On Saturday mornings sailing to Birkenhead the boat was forced to turn around and return to Douglas following an issue with one of the engines.

It meant consequently the vessell was operating on just one engine and one bow thrust unit, so on safety grounds the decision was reached to return.

Following swift repairs the boat was able to resume service to Birkenhead yesterday morning.

The company have apologised to any passengers affected by the technical glitch.
