Ben-my-Chree back on Heysham sailings tomorrow and Saturday

The Ben-my-Chree will operate tomorrow and Saturday’s daytime sailings due to ‘operational restrictions at Heysham Port.’

The Steam Packet Company says it’s due to stronger forecast winds at Heysham than the Manxman’s temporary limit allows.

The new vessel embarked on its first passenger sailing this morning.

Managing Director Brian Thomson says as they build up real world experience on Manxman in a variety of conditions, the temporary limits on Heysham will be raised.

The Steam Packet apologises for any disappointment for customers who were hoping to sail on Manxman over the next two days.
