Ratepayers in Port Erin are facing a 4.7 per cent increase this year.
Port Erin Commissioners have set their rate for the coming year at 378p, a rise of 38p per week for a typical 3-bedroom home.
Chairman Godfrey Egee says the board focussed on providing a realistic budget as the cost of living crisis continues.
The Board says it'll release the £55,000 surplus from last year to keep the rise under inflation.
It's also agreed to pay more towards the running of the Southern Swimming Pool as it faces an uncertain future.
