New plans have been submitted to demolish The Waterfall pub and build four houses.
The pub in Glen Maye closed in 2014, with numerous attempts made to make the business work.
Applicants say the premises is no longer commercially viable due to a number of reasons, one of which being competition in Peel being impractical to keep up with.
The application proposes that four 3-4 bedroom houses would be built with living space and integral garages.
