The Chief Minister believes the recent signing of a major tax agreement with the UK has created more opportunities for the Isle of Man.
Allan Bell was commenting after the FATCA agreement was signed, which provides complete transparency between the two countries.
He believes this will help shake off the Island's reputation in the UK as being a 'tax haven'.
