The Leader of the Liberal Vannin Party says she's been 'blown away' by the support for her bid to become Chief Minister.
Kate Beecroft was one of three MHKs who put themselves forward for the role - Middle MHK Howard Quayle took the top job on Tuesday.
After outcry on social media about the result - which saw her secure just three votes and polling last - she said she believes 'everything always works out for the best in the end'.
