An Island charity will head north this weekend to spruce up more of the Island's beaches.
Beach Buddies is calling for any volunteers who can help out this Sunday (September 13) with a cleaning session up at the Point of Ayre between 10.30am and 12pm.
The charity says they'll be aiming to clear litter which could pose a threat to local wildlife on the coast there, and that it would be a 'major surprise' if those who come along don't see the likes of seals and gannets out in the waters just a few yards away.
Those wanting to help out are asked to meet at the car park next the main lighthouse before the session starts.
