Torrential Rain And Strong Winds
Motorists are being reminded by the police to drive with extra caution today.
There’s a lot of flooding on the Islands roads and also reduced visibility.
Department of transport workers are out on the roads trying to clear it, so drivers are being urged to slow down and respect their safety.
Several police vehicles are dotted about the Island with flashing blue lights to attempt to slow traffic down too.
The weather won’t be easing off until later this evening.
Today’s sailings have also been cancelled so passengers are being asked to contact the steam packet company to make alternative arrangements.
