Bass: Geordies can repeat grand slam heroics

St George’s manager Chris Bass Sr has told 3FM that he believes his side is capable of repeating their record-breaking grand slam success.

Geordies’ big game against title rivals Peel was called off over the weekend as Laxey went to the top of the Canada Life Premier League.

However, even at this very early stage, Bass believes that if fortune goes their way, the Douglas team stands a good chance of recapturing all four trophies (see audio):

St George’s continue their league campaign away against Rushen United on Saturday.
