Manx resident Baroness Mone has been told she can't have access to documents and evidence in the UK's Covid-19 Inquiry.
She and husband Doug Barrowman, who live in St Marks, had applied for 'core participant' status - getting advance notice of the inquiry's report when it's published.
Inquiry chair Baroness Heather Hallett said granting them their application would mean significant disruption to her probe.
She said the application was 468 days after the deadline.
