A banned driver who’s alleged to have had cannabis in an uninsured vehicle will appear in court again on October.
James Philip Harrison of The Hope in St Johns appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 29 year old admitted driving while disqualified and having no insurance but denies failing to update the vehicle’s ownership details, possessing cannabis and driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
The court heard 1.4 grammes of cannabis were found inside the vehicle, but Harrison had only just bought it and told officers other people drove it.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 and he’ll appear in court again on October 20.
