Isle of Man Bank is warning its customers not to fall for a con targeting local residents.
The bank says text message are being sent asking people to call a phone number about a fraudulent transaction.
However, it says unlike previous attacks the message doesn't look like it comes from themselves.
Its advice is to only ever phone well-known and trusted numbers found on a genuine website or in the phone book.
