The Infrastructure Minister has confirmed that work on the new Balthane Roundabout has been delayed by a further two years, with costs also continuing to rise.
Speaking in the House of Keys this morning, Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall said the department needs to prepare a new business case to secure an additional £1 million pounds.
The project in Ballasalla was first approved in 2021 is now estimated to cost £2.1 million pounds.
The minister added that construction will begin once the revised cost is approved, with work currently planend for the 2027-28 financial year.
