Ballaugh Commissioners are trying to fill two vacant seats.
Nominations are open and the relevant forms can be found on the government website.
Anyone wanting to stand as a commissioner has until 1pm on 19 April to submit forms.
If more than two people choose to stand the by-election will be held on 18 May.
