Year 8 pupils at Ballakermeen High School are being asked to study from home today.
Head teacher Adrienne Burnett says it’s due to 'exceptional' levels of staff absence.
She says despite a 'concerted effort' to continue as normal, staff absences have left them with 'no option'.
She has apologised for the disruption and adds she wouldn't be taking this 'unwelcome action' unless it was essential.
