A new head of Manx Utilities could be appointed next week.
When Tynwald convenes for one of its regular sittings next Tuesday (May 19), Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, will ask members to approve making Ayre & Michael MHK, Tim Baker, the new chair of the authority.
If approved, it would mean Mr Baker would take the place of Dr Alex Allinson MHK who now holds the role of Education, Sport and Culture Minister.
Meanwhile, a vote will also be called to make new Member of Legislative Council, Peter Greenhill, vice-chair of MUA - a role which is currently vacant.
