A man has been remanded at the prison as he faces a charge of being drunk in public.
54 year old Ralph John Walker of Derby Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies provoking behaviour and being drunk in public.
A bail application was refused and and he'll next appear at a pre-trial review hearing on November 7.
