A local supermarket chain has banned children from buying eggs in the run-up to Hop Tu Naa.
Shoprite has put signs on shelves saying under-16s won't be sold eggs because of concerns over what they'll be used for.
It's after a number of incidents involving eggs being thrown at cars were reported to police.

Small numbers of young people use them as weapon of choice to cause antisocial behaviour. Sounds trivial but big impact on victims.
