The Cabinet Office has revealed the average age at which Island residents die.
A Freedom of Information request to the government asked for the mean age of death for each year since 2015.
In its response, the office said in 2015 the average age was 77.
Since then, it went up to 79 in 2017 and 2020, but hovers at the 78 mark.
