The Island's Attorney General will appear in court today.
Stephen Harding is standing trial - charged with perjury and submitting false documentation.
It's alleged that the 51-year-old Glen Vine man willfully made a statement he knew to be false while under oath.
The trial will take place at Douglas Courthouse in front of Deemster Birkett.
It's expected to last for 15 days.
