The Isle of Man is set to miss out on the impact of a major storm heading for the UK.
The UK is bracing itself for winds of up to 150 mph and torrential rain which is coming in from the Atlantic.
However the Island is set to escape the worst of the conditions with winds expected to be more gale force than storm force.
Dave Boultbee is a forecaster at Ronaldsway – he says conditions won’t be great but won’t cause problems like earlier on in the week:
Gales put two ferry sailings at risk tonight
Should the Island throw a birthday party for Barry Gibb?
Warning issued over icy roads
High ground could see 4 inches of snow on Saturday night
Mountain Road unlikely to open before Monday
Yellow warning for freezing temperatures tonight
