A public meeting about assisted dying is taking place this evening.
It's set to go ahead up at Noble's Hospital in the Keyll Daree suite from 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome - whether they're for, against or unsure about the concept.
An opinion poll in 2021 found 87% of islanders support a change in the law on assisted dying to allow this option for terminally ill, mentally competent adults.
The assisted dying bill was then proposed by Dr Alex Allinson, and would enable terminally ill adults the choice of an assisted death.
