Aspiring firefighters are being reminded they can see if they've got what it takes to join during next week.
The Island Fire Service is holding 'come and try it' sessions on Monday (October 14) and Thursday (October 17) for anyone considering applying to get a glimpse into what professionals do on a daily basis.
Those who attend can take part in a series of tests which are part of the entry process including a bleep test, hose reeling excercise and breathing apparatus tests.
The sessions will take place at Douglas Fire Station on those days between 6.15pm and 8pm without the need to book in advance.
