The government is inviting artists to put forward designs for a part of the Douglas Promenade refurb.
They would be featured on bollards indicating the entrance points to the low speed traffic area at the south end of Loch Promenade and the north end of Harris Promenade.
Winning suggestions will go on the 1.4-metre tall structures which will have a celtic knot design on top.
Entries must be submitted to the MyProm office at the Sea Terminal in Douglas by January 2, 2019.
Isle of Man Arts Council is supporting the project - artists briefs can be obtained at www.iomarts.com
