Supermarket trolleys, parts of a pram and remains of three tents were some of the items found on a riverbank by a local charity.
River Buddies held its first ever event at the beginning of the year, clearing the banks of the River Douglas.
Other items such as plastic bottles, tin cans, and food wrappers were also found.
The charity is planning further events in the near future, and welcomes reports of rubbish on riverbanks and nearby footpaths via beachbuddiesisleofman@gmail.com
