There will be a third round of payments for those who receive child benefits and on low incomes this winter.
It's part of the latest set of support measures announced by the government this morning.
It comes following an earlier announcement of £2.6m in support payments for October.
Now, a third round will be made this December - it's estimated around 3,500 households will receive this.
The amount of money hasn't yet been stated - but gov't says it's working to 'determine the appropriate level of support' - with a further announcement to follow.
So far this year, £9.1 million has been spent on support measures in response to the cost of living crisis.
