Silverware from a Manx designer has been voted Britain's favourite antique.
Experts at Homes and Antiques Magazine nominated 25 pieces ranging from Chesterfield to Welsh Dressers.
But in a vote by readers, Archibald Knox topped the poll to be named the nation's favourite in the magazine's September edition.
The designer was born 1864 in Cronkbourne and created hundreds of pieces for London's Liberty department store.
