In april - the number of crashes on the Island's roads were the lowest they've been for nearly 30 years.
Chief Constable - Gary Roberts confirmed the news on Twitter.
He said the news was 'welcome, but entirely predictable' - it's a record low since reporting on collisions began in 1993.
An all-Island speed limit of 40mph has been in place since Saturday, March 28.
In a welcome, but entirely predictable, development there were fewer road traffic collisions on the Isle of Man’s roads in April than in any month since the current way of recording them began in 1993.
