Work to repair the walls of the sunken gardens on Douglas Prom is thought to cost more than £200,000.
That's according to Douglas Borough Council - which has finally been given the green light to repair the site.
It's after winds of up to 80mph battered and brought down sections of the wall late last year - resulting in the gardens flooding, as well as damaging the children's play area.
Then, the work was delayed due to a needed insurance review and a structural engineer assessment.
Although no start date has been given, Council Leader Claire Wells says the work is 'highly significant' and they want to get it done 'as quickly as possible'.
