Appeal For Witnesses Following 2 Fires
The Island’s fire teams were busy last night with the first call out to a blaze at a commercial property in Ballaugh.
The occupier of the garage managed to contain the fire with a hose pipe until crews arrived and extinguished it.
A cause for the fire has not yet been established.
At 12.30am this morning Douglas crews were called to a storage building at the rear of Duke Street adjacent to the old Villiers site.
Again a cause is yet to be determined; the police are appealing for witnesses to both incidents.
