An inquest has found that the antisocial behaviour of a group of youngsters in Onchan Park "contributed significantly" to the death of a pensioner last year.
73-year-old Lesley Cubbon from Ridgeway Road in the village died from heart failure on 11 August.
the inquest heard that on the evening of her death, the retired administrator, had become upset because youngsters were throwing pears from a neighbour's tree.
She referred to being "absolutely fed-up" and "sick of it" during her calls to 999.
At one point she told an operator,"I'll have a heart attack before this lot's over."
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes said while the behaviour of the group was "selfish and thoughtless" there was no evidence they intended serious harm or death through their actions.
The court heard that Mrs Cubbon died from natural causes (namely myocardial ischaemia as a consequence of coronary atheroma) with the stress and frustration caused by the actions of youths in and around Onchan Park contributing significantly to her death.
Jayne Hughes recommended that a room be made available to police at the Onchan Commissioners offices on identified times and days of the week.
