Animals escaped from their fields earlier this week after gates were left open near Eary Cushlin.
The Western Policing team took to social media to remind walkers to respect animals and landowners and be responsible.
All animals were found safe and well but the gates being open put them at risk of injury.
Officers say to follow signs and keep to marked paths, and not to interfere with livestock and crops.
