New Base Will Enhance the Service
A new facility has been made available for the Island’s Ambulance crews in the West, geared toward enhancing the existing service.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has made available the old Forestry Building in St John’s for the teams to use when on Stand By.
The building is expected to be a great boon for the ambulance service, who otherwise would have been waiting in their vehicles.
The location of the depot means that they will have quick access to Peel, Foxdale, Dalby, Glen Maye and the TT Course.
They moved in over the weekend.
