Almost £15,000 worth of penalty orders have been handed out by Douglas Magistrates Court for individuals and companies who failed to pay their National Insurance.
The defendants were taken to court this week by the Treasury for not paying N.I contributions.
Convictions were recorded and over £5,000 in fines and court costs were also distributed.
