Treasury Minister Alex Allinson says he'll talk to the Steam Packet Company about possible ferry routes to Norway next TT.
In the House of Keys this week, he faced questions from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas about sea services during the racing festival this year.
Mr Thomas questioned whether all demand had been met by the ferry firm after Norwegian bikers chartered a cruise ship to visit the Isle of Man.
