Aldi and Lidl on Summerland site?

A former Douglas councillor has used AI to imagine what the Summerland site would look like with supermarkets built on it.

Frank Scheungel has posted a video to TikTok showing Burger King, Greggs and other chains built on sites that are currently empty.

The minute-long video also shows Aldi and Lidl stores on the site of Summerland, where 50 people lost their lives in 1973.
