Ronaldsway have reported disappointing passenger figures for November as extreme weather batters their numbers.
After a better than expected increase in October the airport saw figures drop by 5.4%, the reversal has been totally attributed to the combination of storms earlier in the month, followed by the recent big freeze and unprecedented snowfall.
It’s believed that the inclement weather has resulted in the reduction of about 3000 passengers in the month.
With this in mind its not boding well for December’s figures when they’re published next month, with a continuing trend in severe weather disrupting their services.
