Air passenger duty on flights leaving the Island will increase from next year.
From Thursday, April 1 next year most passengers will see a two pound rise in ticket prices, with short-haul reduced rates going from £13 to £15.
Meanwhile standard short-haul rates will increase from £28 to £32.
Higher charges will apply for long-haul connecting flights, like travelling to the USA and beyond - the government says the Island's rates are in line with those in the UK.
