A local advocate has announced he'll be standing in Douglas North in the general election.
Damian Ciappelli says he's made the decision because he feels the Island needs a government which is more financially responsible.
In his priorities he lists improving healthcare, addressing the housing crisis, and protecting reliable air and sea links.
The general election is due to go ahead on Thursday, September 24.
