Police are warning local businesses not to be fooled by a scam.

Police are warning local businesses not to be fooled by a scam.

Several businesses based on the Isle of Man have been offered an opportunity to purchase advertising space in what has been described as being a Police related publication.

Officers here say there are no links with the Manx police force and such publications.

Police are urging people never to disclose any financial information during a cold call telephone conversation.
